Negative: Ridiculous collection performance - ushered to a minivan to be driven literally down the pier and across the road. Elaborate admission to the hotel with complementary fruit juice shot and asked to select which bathroom products we wanted from three choices. Asked whether we would like to book breakfast. Which we didn’t as we wanted to see what was available on the island first. Advised that the advertised jacuzzi is not operational and that the swimming pool was not available either due to a guest in the adjacent room. Taken to the room which was fine. We decided to explore the town which is charming but very limited for dining and breakfast choices, at least in March. So we decided to have breakfast in the hotel. Despite the info that without booking certain items would be unavailable, it turned out that nothing would be available. The woman managing the dining room could not be less helpful. Despite having a chef, and an egg, they would not boil an egg because it was against the rules. She told us to see the manager and directed us to the unmanned desk and shrugged when we asked how this was helping. This is not a luxury hotel in any respect other than the high price and the standard of the building in comparison to the others on the island. The jacuzzi has been out of action for at least a year judging by the reviews we read (too late) yet it is advertised on the booking.com listing and they did not advise us that it was unavailable prior to arrival. It would have been great after a day at the beach. The staff are servile but offer terrible service: no helpful advice, very by-the-book and not friendly. The owner needs to wake up to what guests paying their rates expect. The staff need training. Good service is about making your guests feel welcome and valued not idiotic rituals.

Positive: Luxurious hotel with a great location within walking distance of many local restaurants. The staff is extremely accommodating, pick up and drop off at the port was great. The included breakfast was superb! We will def. return if the opportunity allows us. We chose the 2 room suite since our daughter was with us. Beautifully appointed with everything you need.

Positive: The hotel was perfect for a stay on Zimami, a beautiful island with exceptional snorkelling. it is like swimming in a an aquarium. The staff were always helpful and helped book restaurants and trips. The breakfast was also excellent and the room we had on the first floor was large with great views.
